Job Summary

As a Dynamics 365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant, you will collaborate with clients to understand financial requirements, configure and customize Dynamics 365 F&O, and conduct testing to ensure system compliance. Your role involves providing training, ongoing support, and maintaining client relationships, while proposing process improvements and staying updated on system enhancements. Strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and effective communication are essential for optimizing financial processes within Dynamics 365 F&O.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor project teams to help clients realize business value from D365 Finance.

  • Drive innovation by conducting requirement gathering sessions, proposing solutions, and shaping client thinking based on industry trends.

  • Perform functional testing and manage end-to-end system configurations.

  • Prepare business requirements, design documents, and user guides for clients.

  • Conduct capability assessments, define value areas, quantify benefits, and build finance models through business case roadmaps.


Mandatory Requirements

  • Experience gathering business requirements from clients and performing functional analysis.

  • Preparation of business process documents.

  • Implementation experience in at least 3 D365 F&O projects.

  • Strong knowledge of US Accounting/Finance structure.

  • Hands-on experience in the following modules:

    • General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets

    • Cash & Bank Management, Expense Management, Collections, Procurement & Sourcing

    • Project Accounting & Management, Electronic Document Configuration

  • Microsoft Certification in Finance (preferred)

  • Knowledge of bank integration (preferred)

  • Experience in development and implementation of global templates and rollouts (preferred)

  • Prior experience with US clients

  • Functional expertise in D365 F&O Finance modules

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

  • Ability to lead teams and manage client expectations

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to propose process improvements and innovative solutions
