Role Purpose
Williams Lea is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join the Global Engineering team. The role involves leading the delivery of design, build, automation, and support functions across core business processes. The Scrum Master will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive automation initiatives, ensure Agile best practices, and support the digital transformation journey at Williams Lea.
The position requires overseeing multiple Scrum teams, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies, facilitating key ceremonies, managing impediments, and ensuring successful releases through effective coordination with development and testing teams.

Key Responsibilities
Facilitate and coach Scrum teams, ensuring adherence to Agile/Scrum principles.
Lead teams of Solution Architects, Developers, and Testers across geographies.
Conduct all Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Foster transparent communication between Scrum teams and stakeholders.
Maintain and update Product and Sprint Backlogs.
Manage story tickets and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
Identify and remove team impediments; collaborate with stakeholders for issue resolution.
Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, prioritization, and release planning.
Shield teams from external disruptions to maintain sprint focus.
Track Agile metrics and generate performance reports using Agile tools.
Coach teams in Agile best practices, self-organization, and cross-functionality.
Promote continuous improvement in team processes, quality, and performance.
Ensure adherence to security standards, documentation, and best practices.
Stay updated with Agile/Scrum advancements and share insights with the organization.
Essential Skills
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent delivery management role.
In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
Understanding of software development processes and Agile techniques (User Stories, TDD, CI, automated testing).
Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, and mentoring skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
Minimum 5+ years as a Scrum Master in software development projects.
First-level Scrum Master Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable Skills
Certifications such as CSM or PSM.
Project management experience.
Experience working with Atlassian Jira Software.
Knowledge of Automation Hub.
