Job Description:

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM professionals to work on full-cycle D365 F&O implementations and upgrades. The role focuses on X++ development, system customization, integrations, and technical leadership across Finance and Supply Chain modules, supporting enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain D365 F&O customizations using X++ following best practices
• Customize and extend standard D365 Finance and Supply Chain modules
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and solutions
• Build and maintain integrations using OData, REST APIs, and related technologies
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization
• Investigate and resolve bugs as part of 3rd-line support
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Support deployment activities and post-go-live support
• Stay updated with Microsoft D365 F&O features and best practices

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in X++ development and D365 F&O / AX
• Expertise in D365 architecture, data entities, and extension framework
• Hands-on experience with event handlers and Chain of Command
• Experience using LCS, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server and D365 data management
• Understanding of workflows, business logic, and security roles
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Power Platform and Azure integrations
• Experience facilitating workshops and gathering user requirements
• Familiarity with Finance, SCM, Procurement, and Inventory processes
• Technical leadership or mentoring experience

Education:

15 years of full-time education required
