Job Summary:

Morningstar is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical foundation in Java/.NET, JavaScript, and SQL-based databases, along with hands-on Agile/Scrum experience. This role offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional technology projects and mentor global teams while driving large-scale initiatives to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technology projects from planning to execution

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and tech teams

• Define, track, and report on project milestones and deliverables

• Drive Scrum ceremonies including sprints, stand-ups, reviews

• Mentor teams on Agile practices and project standards

• Manage platform releases, gather feedback, and suggest improvements

• Navigate resource conflicts, schedule risks, and delivery challenges

• Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years in IT project management (including 3–5 years in Java/.NET, JS, SQL-based stack)

• Minimum 2 years of Scrum Master experience

• Familiarity with Kanban and agile estimation methods (e.g., planning poker)

• Comfortable with code reviews, batch jobs, server interactions

• Experience with cloud platforms and open source (preferred)

• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills

• Prior technical lead/consulting experience is a strong plus

• Experience using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira)

Education:

UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization
Certifications (Preferred): Scrum Master, PMP, or similar Agile/PM credentials
