Job Overview
Promantia Business Solutions is seeking a motivated and client-focused Functional Consultant with 1–3 years of experience in ERP implementation and functional consulting. This role involves engaging with clients, analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring the successful deployment of ERP systems. The candidate should possess strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Engagement & Requirement Analysis
Engage clients to understand functional requirements
Participate in stakeholder workshops to gather and document business needs
Create functional specifications based on workshop discussions
2. Solution Design & Implementation
Design and configure business solutions based on client requirements
Ensure business processes are optimally mapped in the software
Collaborate with technical teams to align functional and technical design
Follow defined process standards and best practices
3. User Engagement
Maintain strong client relationships and provide proactive communication
Provide regular project updates and collect client feedback
Support Project Managers in issue resolution and expectation management
4. Testing & Quality Assurance
Prepare test plans and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Validate solutions against functional requirements
Provide post-implementation support and issue resolution
5. Project Delivery
Assist the Project Manager in ensuring timely and successful project delivery
Define and monitor project milestones in collaboration with technical teams
6. Training & Documentation
Develop training materials and deliver end-user training
Maintain detailed documentation including user manuals and process flows
7. Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on ERP products and industry best practices
Share knowledge with team members and participate in internal learning
8. Skill Enhancement & Learning
Participate in client meetings to improve stakeholder engagement skills
Tackle complex ERP scenarios to develop problem-solving capabilities
Mentor junior consultants and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Attend relevant workshops and master new ERP functionalities
Qualifications & Skills
Education
UG: Any Graduate
PG: MBA/PGDM (preferred specialization in Finance)
