Role Overview:
The Scrum Master at NMS Consultant serves as a coach and servant-leader for cross-functional Agile teams. This role is central to building high-performing, self-organizing teams, fostering collaboration, removing impediments, and driving Agile transformation and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Scrum Facilitation & Team Coaching
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.
Guide teams toward higher Scrum maturity and self-organization.
Assist in onboarding new teams and establishing Agile norms.
Mentor team members on Agile practices and cross-functionality.
2. Process Improvement & Agile Metrics
Define and track team performance metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown, team satisfaction).
Promote continuous improvement within teams and across the organization.
Contribute to Agile Communities of Practice and share best practices.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Product Delivery
Partner with Product Owners to refine and optimize the Product Backlog for value-driven delivery.
Act as a liaison between development teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
Ensure delivery outcomes align with quality, scope, and timeline expectations.
Keep the customer at the center of all development efforts.
Key Requirements:
Agile Experience: Strong background in Agile environments, including transformation and change management.
Scrum Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Scrum framework, ceremonies, and artifacts.
Agile Methodologies: Exposure to Kanban, Lean, XP, TDD.
Design Thinking: Experience in Design Thinking and Story Mapping is preferred.
