Job Description:

Infosys is hiring a Scrum Master to guide Agile development teams, manage product backlogs, and ensure delivery of high-value outcomes in alignment with Scrum principles. This role falls under the Data & Analytics Unit and is critical in ensuring Agile process adherence, stakeholder collaboration, and team productivity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the team and stakeholders in understanding and applying Scrum values and principles.

  • Prioritize user stories and plan delivery timelines (3-week and 3-month horizons).

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

  • Encourage collaboration within the development team and across business units.

  • Remove impediments that block the team’s progress and serve as a servant leader.


Technical & Professional Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Agile Methodology, Scrum Master role, and associated best practices.

  • Familiarity with key concepts like User Stories, Tasks, DoR (Definition of Ready), and DoD (Definition of Done).

  • Ability to manage unexpected bug fix requests from production.

  • Good working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, ADO.NET, and development practices in DevOps, C#, Java, SQL Server, etc. (preferred).


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Infosys Global Agile methodology is a plus.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile teams with hybrid technologies.

  • Understanding of Kanban, Scrum of Scrums, and cross-functional team development.


Educational Qualifications:

  • UG: Bachelor of Engineering (any stream) / BBA or BMS in Management

  • PG: MCA / MSc (Science) / Any Postgraduate in a related field
