Position Overview:

The Functionary is seeking a skilled D365 Techno-Functional Consultant – Customer Service Module to design, configure, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions. This role requires a blend of functional expertise and technical capability, with a focus on system integration, workflow optimization, and voice call porting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to gather requirements and design effective D365 Customer Service solutions

  • Configure and implement features such as case management, queues, SLAs, and service processes

  • Lead implementations involving voice call porting and integration with telephony systems

  • Integrate Dynamics 365 Customer Service with third-party applications and internal platforms

  • Optimize and monitor workflows to ensure high system performance

  • Guide technical teams during deployment and ongoing support

  • Maintain alignment of solutions with business goals and industry best practices

  • Collaborate with Microsoft and vendors, leveraging Azure Cloud and related technologies


Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field

  • Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (MB-230 preferred)

  • 5+ years of experience as a Techno-Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365 Customer Service

  • Deep functional understanding of case management and service processes

  • Technical experience in:

    • Voice call porting

    • System integration

    • Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)

  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud and Microsoft ecosystem

  • Strong communication and client engagement skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities bridging business and technical needs


Preferred / Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other D365 modules: Field Service, Sales, Marketing

  • Exposure to complex telephony integrations beyond basic voice call porting
