Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Scrum Master to lead data engineering initiatives for a reputed client. The role demands expertise in Scrum principles and practices, hands-on JIRA experience, Agile coaching, and PI planning support in a scaled Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive data engineering requirements using Scrum frameworks

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives

• Setup and manage Agile boards, backlogs, sprints, and dashboards in JIRA

• Facilitate backlog grooming, estimation, and story prioritization with the Product Owner and team

• Report Agile metrics: Velocity, Sprint Completion Rate, Defect Churn

• Support ART leads and RTE in Program Increment (PI) Planning and iteration planning

• Monitor PI progress and align deliverables with PI objectives

• Coordinate with multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and raise key impediments

• Support release planning, production deployments, and warranty tracking

• Promote Agile principles, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and automation practices

• Conduct team skill evaluations and propose development plans

Must-Have Skills:

• 5–8 years of experience as a Scrum Master

• Strong hands-on experience with JIRA, including dashboards and JQL

• Excellent facilitation and communication skills

• Proven ability to drive Agile delivery in data engineering projects

Nice to Have:

• Certified SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent Agile certification

• Experience with CI/CD tools and automation best practices

• Exposure to scaled Agile environments involving multiple teams and ARTs
