Job Description:

Accenture is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join its software development team in Hyderabad. This role requires hands-on experience in Agile project management and a strong understanding of Scrum principles. The selected candidate will enable effective Agile practices, coach development teams, and facilitate all core Agile ceremonies to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as an enabler for software development teams using Agile methodologies
Coach and mentor Scrum Teams to follow Agile principles and practices
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Identify and remove barriers or impediments to team progress
Track and report team performance using appropriate Agile metrics
Promote a culture of continuous improvement across teams
Ensure alignment between development teams and stakeholders
Engage with multiple teams, supporting cross-team collaboration and shared goals
Provide input on critical project decisions and solutions within and across teams

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Agile Project Management
Strong knowledge of Scrum principles and Agile methodologies
Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives, reviews)
Experience coaching and mentoring development teams
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent (B.Tech/B.E.)
Postgraduate degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in Agile Project Management
15 years of full-time formal education

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in complex IT projects with multiple stakeholders
Exposure to other Agile frameworks like Kanban or SAFe
Understanding of Waterfall methodology and ability to operate in hybrid environments
CSM certification (preferred but not mandatory)
