Job Description:
Infosys is seeking a Scrum Master Consultant with strong technical expertise in Java development and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will play a dual role—driving Agile/Scrum practices while actively contributing to system design, code development, and performance optimization.
Educational Requirements:
UG: B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA
PG: M.E./M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc, or any relevant postgraduate degree
Service Line:
Application Development and Maintenance
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze user requirements and translate them into system features and functional solutions
Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, troubleshoot issues, and recommend custom development solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including remote teams
Guide teams in Agile best practices, managing sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming
Ensure timely delivery and quality of project outcomes
Create and maintain database schemas and support business processes
Implement automated testing and unit testing practices
Technical & Professional Requirements:
Scrum Master Certification (Scrum/Agile certified)
7–9 years of relevant experience in software development and Agile delivery
Strong object-oriented programming skills
Familiarity with design and architectural patterns
Proficiency in Java, SQL, HTML, and related technologies
Hands-on experience with external and embedded databases
Experience implementing automated testing tools
Knowledge of Salesforce and related tools (preferred but not mandatory)
Preferred Skills:
Infosys Global Agile Methodology
Agile coaching and facilitation
Software development lifecycle management
Salesforce basics, APEX, Visualforce, DML, Data Loader, Workbench (preferred)
Additional Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to coordinate with remote, distributed teams
Flexibility to travel based on project needs
