Job Description

Synoverge is looking for an experienced D365 Functional Consultant (Business Central) to lead end-to-end implementations of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / D365 Business Central, with a strong focus on Finance modules. The role requires deep functional expertise, client interaction, and project leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complete lifecycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / D365 Business Central, primarily focusing on Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Taxation, Consolidation).

• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops, prepare FRD, FDD, BRD, Gap-Fit, and solution design documents.

• Translate business needs into functional specifications and collaborate with development teams for solution delivery.

• Configure, test, and deploy financial modules and integrations.

• Ensure accurate data migration and reconciliation from legacy systems.

• Provide functional leadership—mentor consultants and trainees, review deliverables, and ensure quality outcomes.

• Deliver user training, support UAT, and manage post-go-live stabilization.

• Act as a client-facing lead for Finance workstreams ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams for third-party integrations.

• Ensure Finance process compliance with statutory, taxation, and audit requirements.

• Support pre-sales activities including solution demos, proposals, and client interactions.

Candidate Profile

• Strong background in Finance & Accounts; CA or MBA Finance preferred.

• Minimum 2–3 full-cycle implementations in D365 Business Central / NAV.

• Hands-on expertise in Finance configuration, process mapping, and solution design.

• Exposure to Trade & Logistics modules is an advantage.

• Excellent documentation, communication, and client-facing skills.

• Experience in leading teams and managing multiple stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and mentor junior consultants.

• Certification: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate (preferred/mandatory).

Technical Skills – Must Have

• Business Central customization and related configurations.

• Data migration and integration.

• Analysis and design as per project requirements.

Technical Skills – Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
