Job Summary

Protiviti India is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant to support end-to-end D365 Finance implementations, manage client engagement across Finance modules, and deliver high-quality consulting solutions. The role involves working closely with clients to understand business processes and configure D365FO according to industry and finance best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional activities for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO).

• Support requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

• Work with clients to understand R2R processes and translate them into functional specifications.

• Configure and manage Finance modules: GL, AR, AP, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Costing, and Operations.

• Support multiple client engagements and deliver consulting services efficiently.

• Provide functional expertise and documentation throughout project phases.

• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional and consulting teams.

• Communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Utilize strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot and resolve functional issues.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance).

• Expertise in Finance modules:

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Cash & Bank

  • Fixed Assets

  • Inventory Management

  • Costing & Operations

• Experience with Project Accounting is an added advantage.

• Proven experience in end-to-end implementation lifecycle.

• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA (Finance), CA, ICWA (CMA), or equivalent Bachelor’s degree.

• Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (preferred).

• Experience in consulting firms managing multiple client projects.
