Job Description:

Workfall, a premium talent technology platform, is hiring an experienced D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant to support and deliver Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to design, implement, and support finance modules aligned with organizational objectives. The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end functional implementation, application support, and continuous solution improvement, with a strong focus on financial processes, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and re-engineer in-house business processes to improve operational efficiency
• Provide functional support for D365 F&O application maintenance and operations
• Configure and manage Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Budgeting, and Fixed Assets
• Perform Fit-Gap analysis, Conference Room Pilots (CRP), UAT, and end-user training
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and implement optimal solutions
• Handle SLA-based incident and ticket resolution for Level 2 and Level 3 support
• Investigate issues to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
• Execute solution testing for business accuracy and acceptance
• Perform data migration and validate migrated data
• Configure system security, workflows, and functional options
• Prepare functional documentation, training materials, and usability guides
• Provide regular utilization and work status reports to stakeholders

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O / AX)
• In-depth functional expertise in Finance modules
• Knowledge of India localization and taxation including GST, TDS, and TCS
• Experience in end-to-end ERP finance module implementations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and functional documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification
• Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics-focused consulting organizations
• Strong attention to detail and structured approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce or Finance
(B.Com / M.Com / MBA – Finance) or Chartered Accountant (CA)
