Job Summary

A leading client is seeking an experienced D365 F&O Functional Consultant with strong troubleshooting, system administration, and support expertise. The role involves L1–L3 support coordination, workflow monitoring, role mapping, SOP development, and issue resolution to ensure smooth business operations.


Key Responsibilities

1. Basic Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution

  • Resolve common user issues efficiently.

  • Provide accurate issue identification and initial support.

2. Advanced Troubleshooting & System Administration

  • Handle L2-level issues not resolved at L1.

  • Monitor integrations, workflows, and batch jobs to ensure system health.

3. New User Role Mapping

  • Map user roles and ensure correct permission structures in D365 F&O.

4. Workflow History Monitoring

  • Investigate and resolve workflow-stuck scenarios for POs and requisitions.

  • Identify user errors such as incorrect category selection.

5. SOP Creation

  • Develop and maintain detailed SOPs for D365 F&O processes.

  • Ensure SOPs remain updated and accessible.

6. Ticket Triage & User Support

  • Perform initial triage of support tickets.

  • Assist users in navigating D365 F&O modules and screens.

7. Manual Updates & Testing Support

  • Execute manual updates needed for BAU operations.

  • Assist stakeholders with testing during BAU SIT cycles before releases.

8. Ticket Escalations

  • Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams.

  • Coordinate with advanced support for timely resolutions.

9. Batch Job Monitoring & Alerts

  • Monitor recurring batch jobs and resolve errors.

  • Manage AP recurring invoices and parameter changes.

  • Review and report on EIP alerts and dead-letter queues.


Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong functional knowledge of Microsoft D365 F&O.

  • Experience in troubleshooting and system administration.

  • Knowledge of workflow monitoring, batch job administration, and issue triage.

  • Strong understanding of support processes (L1–L3).

  • Ability to create SOPs and assist in testing phases.

  • Excellent communication and user-support skills.


Education Requirements

  • UG: Any Graduate

  • PG: Any Postgraduate
