Job Summary

The Functional Consultant will implement, support, and optimize Supply Chain and Warehouse Management processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The role requires strong functional expertise, client-facing capability, and hands-on project experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse Management.

• Configure D365 FO modules including Product Information Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory, Sales & Distribution, Master Planning, and Warehouse Management.

• Lead workshops, functional discussions, gap–fit analysis, and solution design sessions.

• Prepare FDDs, BRDs, configuration documents, test scripts, and user manuals.

• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations and customizations.

• Participate in data migration including mapping, validation, and testing.

• Conduct system testing, UAT support, and production deployment.

• Provide post–go-live support and continuous process improvements.

• Support pre-sales teams with demos, estimations, and proposals.

Required Skills

• 5–6 years of hands-on D365 F&O experience in SCM and WMS.

• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory, logistics, demand planning, and warehouse operations.

• Experience with Advanced WMS features including work templates, location directives, wave templates, cluster picking, cycle counting, and mobile device workflows.

• Understanding of master data such as released products, item groups, dimensions, units, and BOMs.

• Experience preparing FDDs, BRDs, and test scenarios.

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage client expectations.

• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certifications in D365 Supply Chain or Warehouse Management.

Education

• BE, BTech, MCA, MBA, MTech, MCom
