Job Description:

As a D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in analyzing client financial processes, designing tailored solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations platform, and ensuring seamless financial operations through best practices in implementation and configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Conduct deep-dive sessions with stakeholders to identify business requirements in the finance domain.

• Evaluate existing workflows, pain points, and operational goals.

Solution Design & Configuration

• Design and configure D365 F&O financial modules including:

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Budgeting

• Document functional specifications, perform data mapping, and create workflow diagrams.

Implementation & Deployment

• Lead end-to-end implementation activities: data migration, environment setup, UAT support, and user onboarding.

• Manage deliverables within time and budget constraints.

Customization & Development

• Apply standard customization options available in D365 F&O.

• Collaborate with developers for advanced customizations based on business requirements.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing.

• Resolve functional issues and ensure system stability pre- and post-go-live.

User Training & Support

• Develop user manuals and training materials.

• Deliver training sessions and ongoing support to end-users.

Requirements:

Technical Expertise:

• Strong command over Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, especially financial modules.

• Understanding of ERP systems, relational data models, and integration architecture.

Functional Expertise:

• Sound knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Prior experience with financial process automation and ERP-driven transformations.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Adaptability in dynamic project environments.
