Job Overview:

UST is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Agile environments, particularly Scrum methodology, and a passion for delivering customer-centric products. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver high-impact product features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Product Owner for one or more Agile teams, managing the product backlog and roadmap

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine product requirements

• Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria

• Prioritize backlog items to maximize business value and customer satisfaction

• Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming

• Work closely with engineering, QA, and UX/UI teams to ensure successful and timely product delivery

• Leverage tools like Aha! for roadmap planning and JIRA for sprint and issue tracking

• Continuously analyze feedback and performance data to enhance product offerings

• Effectively communicate updates and changes to stakeholders across technical and non-technical audiences

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile/Scrum environments

• Hands-on experience with Scrum Methodology and Agile practices

• Proficient in using Aha! for product roadmap and JIRA for issue tracking and sprint management

• Strong understanding of backlog management and sprint planning

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment

Nice to Have:

• Certification in Product Ownership or Agile/Scrum (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PO/PM)

• Experience working with remote or distributed teams

• Exposure to enterprise-level digital transformation projects
