Role Overview:
Barclays is hiring an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams and drive successful delivery of strategic Location Strategy projects. As an Assistant Vice President, you will be responsible for ensuring Agile best practices are followed and enabling teams to deliver high-quality results at speed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain consistent team velocity

• Remove blockers and ensure smooth communication within Agile teams

• Manage and report on risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions

• Guide teams in performance tracking (commitment reliability, scope creep, etc.)

• Foster collaboration between stakeholders, developers, and product owners

• Provide data-driven reports and ensure governance compliance

• Support change management and oversee release activities

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent preferred

• SAFe certification is a plus

• Experience in the Banking/Finance domain is preferred
