Job Summary:

Chetu Inc. is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support and guide software development teams using Agile/Scrum frameworks. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience as a Scrum Lead and possess strong knowledge of Agile principles. The role involves facilitating sprint ceremonies, removing blockers, and ensuring delivery aligns with the product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Support 1–2 software development teams through coordination and issue resolution.

• Promote Agile/Scrum best practices tailored to the team and organization.

• Track and publish team metrics (velocity, burndown, capacity); analyze and present trends.

• Guide teams in self-organization, continuous improvement, and accountability.

• Build a safe and trusting team environment that encourages open dialogue.

• Collaborate with product managers and tech leads to align sprint goals with business priorities.

• Help refine and maintain the product backlog.

• Identify and mitigate project risks.

• Conduct regular Scrum maturity assessments to improve team performance.

Candidate Profile:

• 1–3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development teams.

• Strong understanding of Agile Manifesto, principles, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).

• Familiarity with SDLC, servant leadership, conflict resolution, and team empowerment.

• Proven ability to guide and coach teams toward high performance.

• Proficient in tools like JIRA for sprint and backlog management.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) – Scrum Alliance

• Professional Scrum Master (PSM I)

• ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP)

• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)

Education:

• UG: Any Graduate
