Job Description:

Clean Harbors is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong Agile background who are passionate about delivering high-quality software through effective Scrum practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion Agile culture and coach teams on Agile principles, rituals, and artifacts

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint 0, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria

• Mentor team members on Agile best practices and servant-leadership

• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement

• Act as a liaison between development teams and stakeholders

• Remove impediments and escalate blockers when necessary

• Monitor and drive improvements using Agile metrics such as velocity, cycle time, and lead time

• Ensure adherence to Definition of Done and maintain sprint health

• Embed testing automation and CI/CD best practices

• Maintain and optimize Scrum/Kanban boards and Agile tools like Jira and Aha!

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master

• Overall 10+ years of experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) roles

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent certification)

• Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills

• Deep understanding of Scrum and Kanban frameworks

• Hands-on experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!)

• Experience working with geographically distributed teams

• Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field
