Position Summary

The Scrum Master will be responsible for applying Agile and Scrum methodologies across multiple international teams. This role involves close collaboration with Product Owners and Operational Coordinators to prioritize backlogs, facilitate ceremonies, and promote a culture of Agile excellence. The Scrum Master will coach teams, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement in delivery efficiency and quality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

  • Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices.

  • Support Product Owners in backlog management and user story refinement.

  • Identify and remove impediments to the team’s progress.

  • Foster transparency, collaboration, and self-organization within teams.

  • Coordinate with other Scrum Masters to manage inter-team dependencies.

  • Track and communicate key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.) to stakeholders.

  • Build a trusting, safe environment for open communication and problem-solving.

  • Organize demos, resolve conflicts, and motivate teams to deliver effectively.


Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Scrum Master certification required.

  • Minimum 6+ years of total experience, including 3+ years as a Scrum Master managing multiple teams.

  • Exposure to Scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).

Essential Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to adapt them to organizational needs.

  • Proficiency with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Customer-focused approach with problem-solving mindset.

  • Proven ability to support and motivate cross-functional project teams.
