About the Role
Accenture is seeking an experienced Scrum Master who will act as an enabler for software development teams using Agile methodologies. The role involves coaching Scrum Teams, removing delivery barriers, facilitating agile ceremonies, and ensuring progress is tracked through appropriate metrics. This position also requires strong program and project management capabilities, especially across data-centric initiatives within large enterprises.
Project Role Description
Facilitate Scrum and Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Coach and mentor Scrum Teams to ensure efficient adoption of Agile practices.
Remove impediments and support a continuous focus on delivery.
Track and report progress using relevant metrics.
Oversee Program and Project Management activities.

Key Responsibilities
1. Program Leadership & Planning
Develop and maintain integrated, multi-year program roadmaps for data streams.
Lead planning, work breakdown, scheduling, and architecture alignment.
Collaborate with business and IT leadership to define scope, secure budgets, and establish success metrics.
2. Program Execution & Delivery Management
Implement strong project management frameworks using tools like JIRA or MS Project.
Conduct regular stakeholder checkpoints and governance meetings.
Oversee execution by vendors and internal teams to ensure on-time, in-budget, high-quality delivery.
3. Governance, Risk & Compliance
Monitor program budgets and financial controls.
Manage vendor contracts and ensure compliance with defined terms.
Own and manage the full SDLC lifecycle from initiation to closure.
Maintain a detailed RAID log and drive mitigation strategies.
Ensure all SDLC-required documentation and deliverables are completed.
4. Stakeholder Management & Communication
Maintain communication with program steering committees, business units, operations, and IT leadership.
Prepare and deliver executive summaries, dashboards, and status reports across various audiences.

Integrated Program Roadmap with milestones, dependencies, and timelines.
SDLC Compliance across documentation and artifacts.
Resource & Financial Management including budgets and forecasts.
RAID Management with proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience
Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
12–15+ years of experience in technology program/project management.
Minimum 5 years in Banking & Financial Services.
Experience in large-scale data programs (data warehouses, migrations, MDM).
Expert knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
Experience managing program budgets.
Desired / Preferred
Experience in core banking transformation.
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, Databricks, ADF, Synapse).
Knowledge of data governance frameworks.
Certifications: PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, or related.
Education
UG: Any Graduate
PG: Any Postgraduate
