Role Overview

The Scrum Master will support multiple engineering teams by facilitating Agile practices, removing delivery obstacles, and ensuring smooth sprint execution. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in fast-moving startup environments and can combine servant leadership with hands-on delivery guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement

• Work closely with Product Owners to define clear, measurable sprint goals

• Track, measure, and communicate team progress using Azure DevOps, Jira, or Trello

• Identify, escalate, and remove impediments, risks, and dependencies

• Promote continuous improvement and coach teams on Agile values and principles

• Support release planning, velocity tracking, and reporting to leadership

• Align sprint execution with broader technical priorities and product milestones

• Guide cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Product

• Ensure Agile ceremonies add value and enhance delivery efficiency, not just compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 4–8 years of overall experience in software development or delivery roles

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master

• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks

• Certifications such as CSM, PSM, or PMI-ACP preferred but not mandatory

• Experience working with Azure DevOps or Jira

• Background collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams

• Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills

• Ability to operate effectively in startup-style, fast-paced environments

• Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud environments is a plus
