Job Overview

The Scrum Master will lead and facilitate Agile practices within a scaled environment, supporting software development teams in delivering high-quality products on time. This position requires extensive experience in Agile methodologies, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to guide teams through continuous improvement. Experience in cloud development and healthcare domain is preferred.


Key Responsibilities

• Ensure team adherence to Agile principles, practices, and SAFe guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, prioritize tasks, and manage the product backlog.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Remove impediments and ensure seamless communication within the team.
• Identify risks and dependencies; work with cross-functional teams to mitigate challenges.
• Lead retrospectives to evaluate team performance and implement improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement through Inspect & Adapt practices and agility assessments.
• Work closely with Product Management and Software Leaders to align strategy and execution.
• Ensure project delivery within defined scope, timeline, and quality standards.
• Use Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, etc.) to track progress and provide insights.
• Serve as an Agile Coach to guide the team in adopting Agile mindsets.
• Support software delivery across design, development, testing, and release cycles.


Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 10–12 years of total IT experience.
• Minimum 2–4 years as a Scrum Master in a scaled Agile environment.
• At least 8 years working through SDLC stages and delivering software products.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in Agile development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and related frameworks.
• Experience in the healthcare domain (preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile project tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.).
• Strong facilitation, communication, conflict-resolution, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with remote or distributed teams (preferred).
• Cloud development experience, especially AWS, is an added advantage.
• Scrum Master certification such as CSM or PSM (preferred).
• Servant-leader mindset with a focus on team empowerment.
