Role Overview:

As a Senior Scrum Master, you’ll operate within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment, driving Agile execution and continuous improvement, coordinating across Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and enabling high-impact delivery through coaching, facilitation, and transformational leadership 

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate SAFe Agile ceremonies: PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Reviews, and Inspect & Adapt sessions

• Coach teams, Product Owners, and ARTs in Lean-Agile principles, fostering autonomy and performance

• Remove impediments to support faster, high-quality delivery

• Guide backlog prioritization and roadmap refinement in collaboration with stakeholders

• Drive Agile metrics (Velocity, Flow Efficiency, Lead Time, Predictability) and report progress

• Collaborate with RTEs, Solution Architects, DevOps to align delivery pipelines

• Promote continuous improvement and coach other Scrum Masters 

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree with 5–7 years experience; or Bachelor’s with 8–12 years; or Diploma with 12–15 years in Computer Science/IT or related fields 

• Certifications: SAFe Certified Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), or SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) 

• Deep experience in Agile and SAFe practices, especially with ARTs and PI Planning 

• Proficiency in Agile tools: JIRA, Rally, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Miro 

• Strong leadership, facilitation, communication, and analytical capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in biotech/pharma industry

• Additional Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SA)

• Experience in enterprise Agile transformation and portfolio management
