About the Role:

Kanerika Software is seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager with a strong software development background and in-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies. This role requires a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, balancing technical insights with effective project delivery to drive successful outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution and delivery of software projects across cross-functional teams.

  • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable technical solutions.

  • Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring Agile practices are upheld.

  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos.

  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and conflicts proactively.

  • Collaborate closely with developers and architects to align technical design with business objectives.

  • Track project progress and performance using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

  • Support DevOps integration, testing strategies, and release management processes.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8–12 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in project management or Scrum Master roles, with a background in software development.

  • Proficiency in a programming language/framework (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript).

  • Strong architectural understanding of systems, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) is mandatory.

  • Experience with Agile and project management tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps.

  • Excellent stakeholder communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills.
